Wonder wows Corden during ‘Carpool Karaoke’ segment (Video)

WASHINGTON — Monday night’s edition of late-night TV host James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke had one joke in easy reach — with Stevie Wonder as the guest, the duo’s argument over who would drive was easy to predict. But the installment had more funny — and sweet — moments than that.

The “Late Late Show” host was momentarily reduced to tears when Wonder called Corden’s wife for a personalized version of “I Just Called to Say I Love You,” and Wonder’s adept British accent wowed Corden as well.

And, of course, there was the music:

They briefly discussed forming a new band before Corden dropped Wonder off, truly touched — by the ability to use the carpool lane, if nothing else.

Tammy Duckworth, a U.S. Army veteran who lost both of her legs while serving in Iraq, rebuked Tucker Carlson after the conservative Fox News host attacked her on Monday night and suggested that she hates America. "Does @TuckerCarlson want to walk a mile in my legs and then tell me whether or not I love America?" Duckworth wrote on Twitter.
