George Washington Parkway ramp to Key Bridge to be closed

WASHINGTON — The ramp from southbound George Washington Parkway to the Key Bridge will be closing Monday through Friday, Aug. 28.

The National Park Service is replacing the ramp’s surface. The work includes milling the road, replacing its gravel and overlaying it with asphalt.

The ramp is set to reopen Saturday morning.

The park service suggests drivers find alternate routes.
