Man charged with July D.C. homicide

WASHINGTON — A man was arrested Monday in connection with the shooting death of a 23-year-old in D.C. last month.

Eric McDuffie, 23, of D.C., was arrested Monday and charged with first degree murder while armed, D.C. police said. The charges are tied to the fatal shooting of Antonio McCallister on July 24.

McCallister, a D.C. resident, was shot in the 2700 block of Langston Place in Southeast D.C. at about 10:30 p.m.

A warrant was issued for McDuffie’s arrest after McCallister’s death.
