WASHINGTON – Two forms of awesome are coming together in the music world, and one of them can’t seem to handle it. Singer-songwriter Ryan Adams announced on social media that he is covering Taylor Swift’s 1989 album track-by-track, and Swift evidently couldn’t be happier. In a series of tweets and Instagram posts over the past few nights, Adams has kept a rolling account of his process, describing his version of “Out of the Woods” as “Maybe the best sad song I ever did.” Fans of Swift’s original songs may find new depth in the “spooky” covers Adams has posted.
Shake it off. Just finished.
