WASHINGTON — A man was found fatally shot at a party Saturday in Mechanicsville,  St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s office said.

Police arrived at the home at around 1:30 a.m. for a report of a shooting. Responders found victim Cody Michael Lacey, 21, of Mechanicsville, who later died at the house.

Police are still investigating what may have led to the shooting.
