Fairfax County police charge man with raping victims he solicited online

WASHINGTON — Police in Fairfax County have arrested a man on multiple charges including rape, strangulation and sodomy in connection with two incidents. Police also believe there are more victims.

According to a news release, Fairfax County police arrested Drew Wendell Easter, 31, on June 10. Police say he solicited victims online, met them at hotels and then assaulted them.

Easter is charged with rape, sodomy, abduction with intent to defile, grand larceny and strangulation.

A Virginia pet expo running through Sunday is hoping to help those who recently got new pets to find what they need. Eric Udler, producer of the Super Pet Expo at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, said that there has been a significant increase in pets being adopted with so many people working from home.
