Man’s death investigated in Prince George’s County

WASHINGTON — Police in Prince George’s County are investigating a man’s death in the Temple Hills area.

Officers were called to St. Clair Drive for a report of a shooting around 7 p.m. Tuesday. An unresponsive man was found near the pool of an apartment complex, NBC Washington reports.

The man was taken to a hospital, where he died.

“The preliminary investigation shows that our victim was involved in some sort of physical altercation with several suspects,” Cpl. Nicole Hubbard told NBC Washington. “During the altercation, a shot was fired. The suspects fled and our victim collapsed.”

It is unclear at this time whether or not the victim was shot. No additional information has been released.
