Man charged in connection with Forestville homicide

WASHINGTON — A 27-year-old man has been charged in connection with a homicide in Forestville, after a man was found injured outside Maryland State Police Barracks.

Theodore Van Weeks, 28, was brought by a relative to the barracks in Forestville after a stabbing on June 2. Weeks was rushed to a hospital, where he died.

According to Prince George’s County Police, Tremayne Antwan Crawford, of Clinton, was identified as a suspect. An arrest warrant was obtained on June 7, charging Crawford with first and second degree murder. He was arrested Tuesday in Northeast Washington.
