Police: Missing Gaithersburg man may be in Arlington area

WASHINGTON — Police are asking for help finding a missing Gaithersburg man, who left his home after threatening to harm himself.

According to the Montgomery County Police Department, 41-year-old Eric Stephen Taib was last seen at his home on Centerway Road in Gaithersburg. Before he left the home, police said Taib had an argument with family members and threatened to harm himself.

Taib is described as a white man, standing 6-feet-1-inch tall and weighing 210 pounds. When he disappeared, he was wearing a black shirt and camouflage shorts. Detectives say they believe he may be in the area of Arlington, Virginia.

Police and family members are concerned for Taib’s well-being. Anyone with information about his whereabouts should call police.
