1-year-old girl survives 4-story fall in Md.

WASHINGTON – A 1-year old girl is expected to recover after a big fall over the weekend.

She fell from the fourth floor of an apartment building in Aspen Hill Saturday night and had to be taken to the hospital.

The Montgomery County police tell The Washington Post they’re still investigating how it happened — but they urge parents who have young kids to put locks on windows to make sure they can’t be opened more than just a few inches.
