Muscular kangaroo invades Australian neighborhood (Video)

WASHINGTON — A giant kangaroo that looks like it has been pumping iron is turning heads in its new neighborhood and flexing its way into Internet fame.

An unusually buff kangaroo has made a new home in an Australian neighborhood outside Brisbane and has some residents doing a double take, reports Seven News Brisbane.

Linda Hellyer told Seven News Brisbane she recently bumped into the muscular animal while walking her dogs.

“He’s very intimidating, he’s a big boy,” Hellyer said to Seven News Brisbane. “We turned the corner and old mate jumped out. He’s very big and I don’t want to take him on. He’s got massive, massive muscles, big pecs and everything.”

Hellyer said she didn’t want to get to close to the burly beast.

“We didn’t intend to get that close because we obviously know kangaroos can be a bit dangerous.”

The ‘roo is going viral, too. As of Monday, a video report on the kangaroo has been viewed more than 381,000 times since its posting on Friday.
