Vienna Police investigate death of 3-year-old

WASHINGTON — Vienna Police are investigating the death of a 3-year-old Vienna, Virginia boy who died on May 12.

Police responded to a call at a Vienna residence on May 10 and discovered  Fairfax County Fire and Rescue treating a boy who had fallen and suffered a head injury.

Crews rushed the 3-year-old to a local hospital, where his injuries were deemed life threatening. Two days later, the boy died of his injuries.

Authorities are awaiting the boy’s autopsy results.

A Virginia pet expo running through Sunday is hoping to help those who recently got new pets to find what they need. Eric Udler, producer of the Super Pet Expo at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, said that there has been a significant increase in pets being adopted with so many people working from home.
