6 injured in Montgomery County crash

WASHINGTON — One person had to be taken to the hospital after being thrown from a vehicle during a crash in Montgomery County Tuesday morning. Montgomery County Fire and EMS spokesman Pete Piringer tweeted that a six people had to be transported to hospitals after the two-vehicle crash on Snouffer School Road near Mooney Drive in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Five of those transported suffered injuries that were not life-threatening, including some teenagers. The crash around 9:20 a.m. heavily damaged both vehicles and closed Snouffer School Road during the investigation.
