Montgomery County police ask for help finding man who left hospital

WASHINGTON – Police in Montgomery County are asking for help finding a 39-year-old man who left Shady Grove Medical Center against medical advice.

Richard Nathaniel Brown was being treated at the center in Rockville when he left around 4:20 p.m. Monday, police said. He was last seen getting on a Ride On bus near the hospital.

Brown is described as 6-foot-4-inches tall, weighing 270 pounds. He was wearing a white shirt and white sweatpants when he left.

Police and Brown’s family are concerned about his emotional well-being and physical welfare.
