Amber Alert lifted for 4-year-old Virginia girl

UPDATE 8:25 p.m.: Police say 4-year-old Kaleya Kitter has been recovered and the Amber Alert has been canceled.

EARLIER:

WASHINGTON — An Amber Alert has been issued for a 4-year-old girl from Petersburg, Virginia who may be en route to Charlotte, North Carolina.

Kaleya Kitter is black, about 3 feet tall and weighs 50 pounds with brown eyes and black braids. She was wearing a pink T-shirt and pajama pants.

The vehicle she’s thought to be in is a black Nissan Altima with North Carolina plates. It was last seen at 603 St. Mark Street in Petersburg.

Police suspect she’s with Phillip Alexander Ketter who is 28, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.  Police police he’s traveling with a woman named Love Shariff but there’s not physical description.
