FREDERICK, Md. (AP) _ Both defendants in a Frederick high school shooting remain in custody after a bail hearing.

A Frederick County judge denied bail Wednesday for 21-year-old Brandon Tyler. He’s accused of firing the seven shots from a handgun that wounded two teenage boys outside a Frederick High School basketball game in February.

The judge set bail at $2 million for 19-year-old Chandler Davenport. Police say he lured the boys outside in a planned attack.

Their public defender says there’s no physical evidence connecting Tyler to the gun. He says both men are presumed innocent.

Frederick police announced the arrests Wednesday morning.
