Dairy Queen giving away ice cream Monday

WASHINGTON — On Monday, Dairy Queen turns 75 and is getting the party going by offering free ice cream to its customers.

For one day, participating Dairy Queen locations are giving free cones of vanilla soft-serve ice cream. The offer is limited to small cone, s and it is just one per customer.

The company also is honoring its 75-year milestone by raising money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
