Commitment? Please. John Wall’s ready to mingle

WASHINGTON — Valentine’s Day came and went, and John Wall is still single. Apparently, he wants it that way.

The Washington Wizards’ point guard wants to play the field. At least that’s what he told Hot 97 radio host Peter Rosenberg — himself a Maryland native.

“I’m young,” Wall, 24, told Rosenberg. “I know I wouldn’t be faithful right now. I’d rather be friends and stay that way, than go with a girl, lose a friend and never talk to her again. I’m not ready to be faithful, so I don’t wanna break anybody’s heart.”

So, ladies: If you want to date an NBA star without commitment, John Wall’s your guy.

The Wizards play the Cleveland Cavaliers on Feb. 20. Look for him there.
