WASHINGTON — Four children were injured Thursday after a school bus made a sudden stop in Montgomery County. The incident happened Thursday afternoon at Georgia Avenue and Sligo Avenue. The students were from Sligo Creek Elementary and were on bus number 6109. A spokesman for Montgomery County Fire says the injured kids are expected to be OK. Southbound Georgia Avenue after Sligo Avenue remains blocked as police investigate.
