Jimmy Fallon reunites ‘Saved by the Bell’ cast (Video)

WASHINGTON — Jimmy Fallon hosted a high school reunion and brought back some of Bayside High School’s best.

The “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” has been filming in Los Angeles this week, and on Wednesday, Fallon reunited some of the main characters from the late 1980s-to-early-90s NBC hit “Saved by the Bell,” which takes place at fictional Bayside High School in California.

The flashback featured Mario Lopez, Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Elizabeth Berkley decked out in 1990s gear and replaying some of the show’s more memorable segments.

Of course, no reunion would be complete with out Bayside’s favorite principal, Mr. Belding. Dennis Haskins and his memorable laugh made an appearance, too.

Notably absent were Samuel “Screech” Powers (Dustin Diamond) and Lisa Turtle (Lark Voohries). Diamond’s absence may be explained by recent legal troubles, as he recently pleaded not guilty to stabbing a man in December.
