2 dead in separate Md. crashes

WASHINGTON — Two people were killed in separate crashes in Maryland on Christmas Day. NBC Washington reports that one person died and four others were taken to the hospital in a two-vehicle crash on Route 301 in Bowie around 7 p.m. The other injured people are still in serious condition. At about 10 p.m., the Montgomery County police say, one person died in a crash on Randolph Road, between Hammonton Place and Hammonton Road in Colesville.
