‘Biggest Loser’ contestant Damien Gurganious dies at 38 (Video)

WASHINGTON — A contestant on the popular reality show “The Biggest Loser”
has died at age 38.

Damien Gurganious died on Nov. 24 after the sudden onset of a rare autoimmune
disorder that caused bleeding in his brain, E! Online reports.

Gurganious competed on the second cycle of “The Biggest Loser: Couples” with his
wife, Nicole.

“The Biggest Loser” will air a tribute to Gurganious following the Dec. 11
episode on NBC, according to E! Online.
