Cyclist struck at McDonald’s dies

WASHINGTON — A man on a bicycle died after being struck by a truck in a McDonald’s parking lot in North Potomac, Maryland, Monday morning.

The accident happened around 9:45 a.m. near the intersection of Darnestown and Quince Orchard Roads.

A police spokeswoman says the driver stayed on the scene.
