13 year old stabbed at weekend Woodbridge brawl

WASHINGTON — A 13-year-old boy was stabbed in the chest on Nov. 14 after a
large fight broke out in the parking lot of a Woodbridge clubhouse.

Prince William County police say the fight began when 19-year-old Jerome Deramus,
who was working as a security guard at a birthday party held at the clubhouse, told
people he was a police officer and turned them away, saying the party had reached
capacity.

A fight broke out as a result and at some point Deramus stabbed the 13-year-old boy
in the chest and slashed his face.

Deramus was charged with malicious wounding and impersonating a police officer.

The teen boy suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
