McAuliffe to speak at Veterans Day ceremony

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Gov. Terry McAuliffe will speak at the 58th annual Veterans Day ceremony at the Virginia War Memorial in Richmond.

The Nov. 11 event honors all who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces from the Revolutionary War to the present. It’s co-hosted by the American Legion 11th District and the Virginia War Memorial Educational Foundation.

Representatives of several military and veterans organizations also will participate. Civic, military and community organizations that want to participate in the presentation of memorial wreaths are expected to bring their own wreaths and register with American Legion representatives at the site before the program begins.
