Hogan casts ballot in Maryland elections

EDGEWATER, Md. (AP) — Republican Larry Hogan has cast his ballot in Maryland’s election.

Hogan, who’s running against Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown to be the state’s next governor, voted with his wife Yumi on Tuesday morning at a library in Edgewater, in Anne Arundel County.

Brown voted earlier in the day in Upper Marlboro.

Each candidate has gotten some big-name help in the competitive race. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has visited Maryland four times to rally voters for Hogan.

And Hillary Clinton and First Lady Michelle Obama have made campaign stops for Brown.
