Infant death ruled a homicide in D.C.

WASHINGTON — D.C. police detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred in Southeast last week.

On October 29, police officers responded to a call for a so-called “unconscious child” along the 1700 block of Trenton Place in Southeast.

Police found a boy, who was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.

The city Medical Examiner’s office determined that the boy suffered multiple blunt force impact injuries and the death was ruled a homicide.

The boy is identified as 1-month-old Raj’saun Tyrik Brown of Southeast.
