D.C. police investigate death of infant as homicide

WASHINGTON (AP) — District of Columbia police say they are investigating the death of a baby boy as a homicide.

Police said Sunday that officers were called to a home in southeast Washington on Oct. 29 for the report of an unconscious child. The baby was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The D.C. Chief Medical Examiner determined the child had suffered blunt force impact injuries. The death was ruled a homicide.

The infant was identified as 1-month-old Raj’saun Tyrik Brown.
