CINCINNATI (AP) — Bengals right tackle Andre Smith hurt his left ankle and limped to the locker room for an examination during the second quarter against Jacksonville on Sunday.

A player rolled onto the back of Smith’s leg as he blocked on Andy Dalton’s 19-yard touchdown pass to Mohamed Sanu for a 7-3 lead. Smith removed his helmet and stayed on his back for several minutes before limping off.

The Jaguars lost right guard Brandon Linder to a shoulder injury in the first quarter, leaving him questionable for the rest of the game. Linebacker Jeremiah George suffered an ankle injury and also was questionable to return.
