Md. man arrested in Delaware rape, kidnapping

DOVER, Del. (AP) — Dover police have arrested a Maryland man on rape and kidnapping charges after a note was found in a McDonald’s bathroom from a woman who said she was being held against her will.

Police said Friday that the note, written in makeup, was found Thursday on a wall in the women’s bathroom of a McDonald’s on North Dupont Highway. The woman who wrote it said she had been held against her will since Oct. 23.

Using surveillance video, detectives tracked the pair down three hours later at the Dover Mall.

Police arrested 28-year-old Brandon Turner of Rock Hall, Maryland on charges of rape and kidnapping. The woman with him told police he had duct-taped her to a bed and raped her multiple times.

It’s unclear whether Turner has an attorney.
