Uber encourages cat adoptions in a novel way

WASHINGTON — Cuddly time with kittens was available for delivery on Wednesday. The Washington Humane Society and Uber teamed up to raise raise funds and promote adoptions. For four hours, six cars and a total of 14 kittens zipped around D.C. The Humane Society says it raised a little more than $1,000, which Uber will match.
