BALTIMORE (AP) — Johns Hopkins Medicine says it has been asked to lead a group to design a Web-based program on Ebola protocols for health workers.

The hospital said in an email on Friday that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention asked Hopkins to aid doctors, nurses and others as they care for patients who may be at risk of contracting the Ebola virus.

The programs will train health care providers in proper donning of personal protective equipment, safe removal of gear and active monitoring skills.

The programs will be available on the CDC’s website and iTunes U.
