Man hit, dragged by car in Manassas Park

WASHINGTON — A rear-end car crash Wednesday in Manassas Park escalated sharply.

Police say the driver of a Honda slammed his car into the back end of a Mercedes along Euclid Avenue. When the driver of the Mercedes got out of his car, the Honda driver took off, hitting the other driver and dragging him several feet.

He was taken to Prince William Hospital with unknown injuries.

A witness chased the suspect and called the Prince William County police, who stopped him at Prince William Parkway and Hoadly Road.

The Manassas Park police tell WTOP that the Honda driver, Eshaka Kargbo, is being held without bond on charges of malicious wounding and hit-and-run.
