Grain higher, beef and pork lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec delivery rose 5.75 cents to $5.1925 a bushel; Dec corn was 7.75 cents higher at 3.56 a bushel; Dec oats rose .50 cent to $3.51 a bushel; while Nov soybeans advanced 20 cents to $9.6425 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dec live cattle fell .97 cent to $1.6705 a pound; Nov feeder cattle was 2.90 cents lower at $2.3392 a pound; while Dec lean hogs were .70 cents lower to $.8219 a pound.
