7 students arrested after fights in cafeteria

OVERLEA, Md. (AP) — Baltimore County Police have arrested seven students after fights broke out in a high school cafeteria.

Police say multiple fights broke out around noon Tuesday at Overlea High School. A school resource officer called police.

Officers say the fights appear to be the result of an ongoing dispute.

Three students were taken to hospital after an officer used pepper spray to try to stop the fights.

The students who were arrested face charges that include assault and disorderly conduct.
