Colts CB Butler won’t play against Bengals

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Colts cornerback Darius Butler won’t play Sunday against Cincinnati, missing his second straight game because of an injured ankle.

Butler, Indy’s third cornerback, was inactive against Houston last week. Indianapolis (4-2) hosts Cincinnati (3-1-1) in a matchup of division leaders.

Coach Chuck Pagano says defensive tackle Arthur Jones (ankle) is questionable for the game. Jones returned to practice this week but has not played since Week 2.

Pagano lists starting offensive linemen Gosder Cherilus (knee), Jack Mewhort (ankle) and Hugh Thornton (back) as probable. Starting safety Mike Adams also is listed as probable with an ankle injury.
