Wagner beats St. Francis (Pa.) in 2 OTs 46-39

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (AP) — Chris Andrews threw a 9-yard touchdown pass to Bryant Watts in the second overtime to lift Wagner to a 46-39 victory over St. Francis on Saturday.

Otis Wright’s 2-yard run had matched St. Francis’ touchdown in the first overtime, before the Seahawks (3-3, 1-0 Northeast) scored on Watts’ third touchdown catch of the game and then sacked Red Flash quarterback Zack Drayer for the win.

Andrews entered the game in the second half after an injury to starter Brian Gehring and threw a 21-yard pass to Watts for a 32-25 lead with 3:10 left regulation. Drayer responded by leading the Red Flash on a 90-yard drive that culminated with a 2-yard pass to Matt Camilletti with 30 seconds remaining to send the game into overtime.

Anthony Abeid had 189 yards receiving and two scores for St. Francis (2-4, 0-1), which has lost the last seven meetings with Wagner.
