Temple outlasts Tulsa 35-24

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — P.J. Walker threw for 294 yards and two touchdowns, both in the fourth quarter, and Temple downed Tulsa 35-24 on Saturday.

Thomas had 151 yards on the ground on 14 carries for the Owls (4-1, 2-0 AAC), including a 68-yard run on the game’s opening drive.

Dane Evans threw for 260 yards and two touchdowns to lead Tulsa (1-5, 1-1). Zack Langer added 113 yards rushing and Keevan Lucas finished with 108 yards receiving for the Golden Hurricanes, who have lost five consecutive games.
