Gasol, Butler lead Bulls over Bucks, 91-85

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Pau Gasol scored 20 points, Jimmy Butler added 18 and the Chicago Bulls picked up their first win in three preseason games, beating the cold-shooting Milwaukee Bucks 91-85 on Saturday night.

Derrick Rose had 16 points, five rebounds and four assists in 23 minutes for the Bulls. Gasol grabbed 11 rebounds.

The Bulls jumped to a 10-0 lead and never trailed. Chicago shot 42 percent, compared with 35 for Milwaukee, which fell to 1-2.

Larry Sanders, who struggled with off-court issues and injuries last season, continued his early resurgence, leading the Bucks with 14 points while grabbing eight rebounds. ZaZa Pachulia had 12 points and 11 boards.

Jabari Parker, the No. 2 overall pick in the draft, had 11 points in his debut on the Bucks’ home court.

Milwaukee forward Ersan Ilyasova made his preseason debut after missing the first two games with the flu and shot 4 of 20.
