Bucknell beats Lehigh 45-24

BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) — Trey Lauletta passed for four touchdowns and Matt DelMauro ran for two more Saturday and Bucknell beat Lehigh 45-24 in their Patriot League opener.

Bucknell had 436 total yards to 289 for Lehigh and forced five turnovers, including two interceptions by Lee Marvel that led to two, 1-yard scoring runs by DelMauro, and an interception by Connor Golden that set up an 18-yard field goal by Derek Maurer.

Lauletta was 15 of 20 for 313 yards passing, including TD passes of 19 yards to Bobby Kaslander, and 69, 78 and 77 yards to Will Carter. Carter had seven receptions for 246 yards.

Bucknell (5-1, 1-0) led 31-10 after three quarters, but Lehigh (0-5, 0-1) surged in the fourth on an 8-yard TD run by Christopher Lee and a 9-yard scoring run by Nick Shafnisky.

Then Lauletta hit Carter on a 77-yard TD pass that put Bucknell back in control.
