LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) — The Chicago Bears activated linebacker Terrell Manning from the practice squad Saturday and waived safety Shamiel Gary.

Manning has appeared in two games on special teams this season. He has played in eight NFL games over three seasons with Green Bay, San Diego and Chicago.

The Bears also said linebacker D.J. Williams has been downgraded from probable to questionable because of a neck injury.

Chicago is at Atlanta on Sunday.
