Average Apartment Rents, By Metro Stop – The average one-bedroom apartment near the Bethesda Metro stop will run you $2,193 a month, according to an apartment rental app. That’s expensive compared to apartments near other suburban Metro stations, but cheaper than a number of D.C.’s most popular neighborhoods. Pepco Tree Cutting Ruling Coming Soon – A Montgomery County Circuit Court judge is expected to rule next week on a preliminary injunction against Pepco filed against residents of a Potomac neighborhood. The eight residents want to stop Pepco from cutting down about 50 trees on their properties. Pepco said it has the right to remove the trees and needs to do so to improve service. [The Gazette]
