Sen. Ben Cardin to host forum on public health

BALTIMORE (AP) — U.S. Sen. Ben Cardin will host a public health advocacy forum at Johns Hopkins University.

Cardin will discuss public health and public policy and the relationship between science and politics on Thursday.

Cardin will host the panel at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. It will feature the school’s dean, Dr. Michael Klag, members of the school’s faculty and Jose Rimon II, director of the Bill and Melinda Gates Institute for Population and Reproductive Health.
