Giants waive Dan Fox, sign Chandler Fenner

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — The New York Giants have waived rookie linebacker Dan Fox and signed cornerback Chandler Fenner from their practice squad.

The team announced the moves Saturday, a day before its game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Fox, who was waived in the final cutdown and then signed to the practice squad, was put on the 53-man roster Sept. 16. He played in two games on special teams, but was not credited with any tackles.

Fenner was in training camp with the Giants and has been on the practice squad since the start of the season.
