NEW YORK (AP) — The Whitney Museum of American Art wants to make sure Jeff Koons’ fans get their fix before it closes its final exhibition at its current location.

The museum announced it’ll stay open nonstop for 36 hours from 11 a.m. Oct. 18 to 11 p. m. Oct. 19 — the last day of its major Jeff Koons retrospective.

The exhibition opened in June and fills nearly every floor. It’s among the highest-attended shows in the museum’s history.

It’s the final show at the Whitney’s Madison Avenue location before it moves to a Renzo Piano-designed building downtown in 2015.

Koons is one of the most popular living artists today. Last year, he became the most expensive living artist, too, when his “Balloon Dog (Orange)” sold for $58.4 million at auction.
