Baltimore ambulance involved in hit-and-run

BALTIMORE (AP) — Baltimore police say they’ve made an arrest in a hit-and-run involving an ambulance early Thursday morning.

Police tell WBAL-TV (http://bit.ly/1ptMzSm ) that they’ve arrested a person in the case but did not provide other details.

Officials say two medics in the ambulance were taken to a hospital with minor injuries following the crash. It’s unclear whether the ambulance had its lights and sirens on at the time of the 3:15 a.m. crash.

Falls Road and 42nd Street in the Hampden area of Baltimore was closed for a few hours during the investigation and clean-up of the accident.
