TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — The Arizona Cardinals have signed defensive tackle Bruce Gaston and released running back Jalen Parmele.

The 6-foot-2, 310-pound Gaston spent the preseason with the Cardinals after signing as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Purdue. Gaston was among Arizona’s final roster cuts on Aug. 30, then was claimed off waivers by the New England Patriots, who released him on Sept. 3. Gaston then was claimed by Miami and was inactive for two games before being re-signed to the Dolphins’ practice squad.
