Worker killed in explosion at Idaho dairy

RUPERT, Idaho (AP) — A south-central Idaho man has died in an explosion at a dairy.

Authorities tell The Times-News (http://bit.ly/1smotAw) the explosion occurred at about 6 a.m. Monday as 30-year-old Dayne A. Hansen of Rupert did welding work on a trailer.

Minidoka County Sheriff Eric Snarr says the explosion damaged the shop and other equipment.

Snarr says it’s unclear what caused the explosion, and authorities are continuing to investigate.
