WBO champion Crawford to fight Beltran on Nov. 29

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — WBO lightweight champion Terence “Bud” Crawford will fight top contender Ray Beltran on Nov. 29 at CenturyLink Center in Omaha.

Boxing promoter Top Rank announced Tuesday that the bout will be televised live on HBO.

The 26-year-old Crawford has a record of 24-0, with 17 knockouts. He successfully defended his title June 28 in his hometown of Omaha, knocking out previously undefeated world champion Yuriorkis Gamboa.

Beltran is 33 years old and has a record of 29-6-1, with 17 knockouts. He won a 12-round unanimous decision against Arash Usmanee on April 12 in Las Vegas.
