Man arrested in Delaware robbery

NEWARK, Del. (AP) — Newark Police say a man charged in a warrant with robbing a woman has been arrested in Maryland.

Officers say 20-year-old Kyle Price of Earleville, Maryland, was arrested Sunday by police in Elkton, Maryland.

Police say on Thursday, two men riding bicycles approached a woman walking on Pomeroy Trail. Authorities say the men demanded money from her.

Officers say when the woman told the men she had no money, they knocked her to the ground and went through her bag.

Officers say one man took a can of pepper spray from the woman’s bag, and the two fled the scene.

Price is awaiting extradition to Delaware.
